Our Story
Daniel and Danielle were set up on a blind date by two mutual friends, who had more confidence in their matchmaking skills than Danielle did. After some convincing, Danielle agreed. Their first date was at Mozart's coffee shop in Austin, on a rainy Thursday night. After recovering from the downpour and drying out a little, they grabbed a cup o'joe, found a spot, and chatted for hours. Daniel liked Danielle even though her “first date” hair and makeup were ruined! They didn't waste much time falling love. Their kitties, however, are still learning to love each other. Chi (Daniel's cat) was a bit upset when Robin (Danielle's cat) came over to visit. It took some time, but they eventually learned to tolerate one another. Maybe one day they'll come around! The past four years have been filled with great experiences together. Daniel and Danielle have been on multiple vacations, including to Surfside Beach, New Orleans, a cruise, and Alaska! Daniel convinced Danielle to run her first organized race, the Cap 10K, which has become an annual event (with the next coming up on April 6th!). Daniel and Danielle chose to marry in Driftwood, TX, a particularly special place for the Christal family. Daniel's father grew up there and spent much time working on the family ranch in the area. On your way in, you will pass the school his grandfather attended (now a church), then some fencing along the road that his father built, and the cemetery where multiple relatives were buried. It means the world for Daniel and Danielle to be married in this quaint town with so much personal meaning. They both love spending time with family and friends, and cannot wait to have everyone in one place to celebrate on May 10th! See you there!Photos
